Join our local guides for walking tours
We’ve selected the ‘creme de la creme’ of tour guides from across the English Riviera to share their stories and knowledge of this stunning region.
Of course, they all enjoy walking and talking, but above all, the guides are united in a passion for this beautiful ‘corner’ of Devon, with its towering cliffs, picturesque bays, golden beaches, woodland trails and fabulous coastal paths.
Our guides are eager to lead you on jaw-dropping walks, whilst telling tales about the area, its people and colourful history…to take you on routes that only locals know about and experience places that will enhance your appreciation of the English Riviera.
Below, you’ll see our team of guides – they’re an interesting bunch! One claims to have played tennis against Sue Barker; another won Come Dine With Me; and one even claims to be a descendent of Lady Godiva! So, when you book a walk, you’ll know a little bit about your guide and maybe verify their stories!

Based in Devon, my work is rooted in plein air painting around Torbay and beyond, blending keen observation with a deep connection to place.
In recent years, my residency at Cockington Court has supported my ongoing exploration of the local environment.
Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of working with schools in Torbay, demonstrating the benefits of yoga for stress relief and emotional well-being to students and educators alike. I have also partnered with various organizations to enhance mental health support within our community.
As a proud Geopark Associate Partner, I am committed to elevating awareness of Torbay’s geological heritage and the wellness advantages of engaging with nature in ‘One of earth’s extraordinary places’.
Additionally, I offer a vibrant Polynesian Dance Class that celebrates my Kiribati heritage by integrating well-being practices with principles of kindness and harmony. My goal is to spread joy, connection, and community through both yoga and dance, creating a safe and inclusive space for everyone, no matter their age or ability. I truly believe that these practices are essential for fostering balance and healing in our lives.
