Walking, wine and cheese – what’s not to like?
Our walking tour begins at Sandridge Barton Wines, nestled in a picturesque valley in the South Hams, producing over 120 tonnes of fruit per year from their 42-acre vineyards. From here, we meander through the narrow lanes to the picture-postcard village of Stoke Gabriel, located on the banks of the River Dart. We return to the vineyard to join a guided tour of the winemaking facilities, whilst sampling their wine and local Devon cheeses.
- Visit Stoke Gabriel village church which dates back to 1085
- Walk backwards around its 1000 year old Yew tree 7 times and make a wish!
- Take time to admire the breath-taking views across the River Dart
- Gain a real insight into the production processes behind Sandridge Barton’s exquisite wines
- Enjoy an informative 3 wine and cheese tasting experience.
This tour is only suitable for guests aged 18 years and older
